Promote your social cause or union at Marrapalooza
Marrapalooza is a multi venue music and arts festival occurring over May 17th and 18th in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley at The Grove (380 capacity) Cluny (280 capacity), Cobalt Studios (240 capacity), Cumberland Arms (100 capacity), Tyne Bar (100 capacity) and Little Buildings (50 capacity).
The event will attract hundreds of music fans from around the North East and beyond, of varying ages, but especially so a younger cohort of 18-27 year olds that often isn’t unionised.
We would like to invite trade unions and social causes to exhibit at the festival.

GIVING YOU A PLATFORM:
Can you provide speakers / campaigns information to our attendees?
This could involve:
- A union representative could introduce our headline performer- Benefits on Saturday 18th
- A speaker could address the audience during one of our sound breaks at a venue.
- A representative could provide a campaigning stall to share materials, sign up sheets
and to take donation areas throughout our venues.
COULD YOU ALSO HELP US?:
Marrapalooza costs more than £15,000 to run and we want it to become a place where social causes can be seen and be woven into the fabric of the event.
If you would like to sponsor or help us cover costs, we can offer:
Brand / union logo added to all of our promotional materials
Acknowledgement and distribution to an 8,000+ person mailing list of North East music fans (average open rate: 40%) and via our social media channels
Naming a stage after your union: all attendees will visit, for instance ‘Unison Cluny Stage’
