Marrapalooza is overseen by people working in the North East music scene in grassroots music and those specialising in inclusive practice.

Ben Lunn

Ben helps us make Marrapalooza disability inclusive. He has won accolades from the Scottish Music Awards and was shortlisted for the RPS Awards for his concerto History Needs… composed for Nicholas McCarthy. Among his many compositional works are collaborations with Royal Northern Sinfonia and Rosalind Dobson on ANNA MARRA MISSA a new work based on the epic poem by William Martin.

Beth Black

Beth is a musician & advocate who’s creative community work includes everything from samba workshops, songwriting in prisons and starting feminist choirs. She plays in multiple bands. She is co-director of Girls Rock Glasgow and is currently doing PhD research looking at further and higher education for disabled musicians.

Hana Harrison

Hana Harrison runs Artmouse Promotions and books the Rebel Rouser stage at Greenbelt Festival. We are grateful for their help providinf many years of festival logistics experience.
